Hi! I’m so happy you’re here!
About Me
I didn’t come from a traditional design background. I came from environments where details mattered, communication had to be clear, and people relied on systems actually working.
Before UX, I served in the Army, worked in education, and now work in office administration at an engineering consulting firm. Somewhere along the way, I realized I had already been thinking like a designer for years. I just didn’t have the title yet.
Today, I approach UX with a focus on structure, usability, accessibility, and creating experiences that feel intuitive instead of overwhelming. I enjoy turning complicated systems into something people can actually use.
Outside of design, I’m usually at the gym, drinking iced coffee, hanging out with my little orange fur child, or keeping myself up to speed with all things UX.
The Journey
01
MILITARY SERVICE
Discipline, systems thinking, and mission-first mindset. Every decision had a real human impact.
02
EDUCATION & ADMIN
Supporting people, streamlining processes, and spotting where systems failed the humans inside them.
03
UX DESIGN
The thread connecting it all. Now I design with empathy, structure, and purpose.
What Drives Me
People-first, always. Design that doesn't serve real humans isn't design, it's decoration.
Context as a superpower. My unconventional path gives me empathy that other designers have to work to build.
Clarity over complexity. The best experiences feel obvious. Getting there is anything but.
